The Nursery offers a secure, homely and self-contained environment where pre-schoolers are able to enjoy the comings and goings of the Main School without being overwhelmed. Modernised classrooms are light, spacious and airy, and the Nursery play area is well-stocked with outdoor play equipment. It also has full use of the School’s thirty acres of grounds so, during the summer months, we go on regular Nature Rambles and picnics.
Parental involvement is actively encouraged and we operate an open-door policy believing that the more information passed between parents and the School, the better it is for your child. Each and every Riddlesworth Nursery pupil is encouraged to develop at a pace that is right for them so they can proceed to the next stage of their schooling full of confidence and enthusiasm for learning. All children are introduced to reading from an early age using Phono Graphix which produces rapid progress in reading and thus accelerated learning across the academic spectrum.
The Nursery has recently received an excellent OFSTED report.
The Nursery is open from 8.15 a.m. to 4.15p.m. during Riddlesworth Hall School term times.
