Overseas students join the International study centre at Riddlesworth Hall and are fully supported throughout their time at the school by a dedicated team of language teachers. Students receive instruction in reading, writing, listening and speaking, in addition to grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation lessons – all based around topics relevant to the age and interests.

Subject to a language test, students can join the mainstream school for all relevant lessons. Those requiring more support have intensive English language lessons in which they are regularly assessed, with the aim of joining the mainstream school.

In addition to the skills and systems of the English language, students also learn about British culture, history and geography, as well as a range of content-integrated language learning lessons.
