Concert at St Mary’s, Diss
With half-term on the horizon, we made our way to St Mary’s Church in Diss to receive our usual warm welcome, for a now traditional event, giving the final concert in the annual music festival.
The Pre-Prep Choir opened proceedings and clearly had fun pretending to eat worms because nobody loved them, and for the first time at Diss we were able to enjoy Speech and Drama
performances from members of the Pre-Prep.
Junior Choir enjoyed being terrified by the “Roller Ghoster” and Chamber Choir took us dancing in 42nd Street.
This was interspersed by a variety of soloists and speech and drama performances.
Senior Choir brought the concert to a close
singing sweetly about the fruits of the land but finishing with a rousing performance of the
Harvest Samba.
After tucking into packed lunches we headed off for a swim and then back to school feeling that we well deserved our half term holidays.
