As we reflect on Pre-Prep’s production, ‘Baubles’, there are a couple of things that stand out to me. Firstly, how lucky the staff are to be able to work with such amazingly talented children. Secondly, as we rushed around filling the gym with extra seating, it struck us just how much of a supportive parent body we have. It was lovely hearing the audience laugh, “ooh and aah” as the children delivered their lines with impeccable timing. It meant the world to have their loved ones there to support them. To the 4 trustworthy Narrators, a hardworking Mr Potts, Archie and his school friends, a most knowledgeable Headmistress and her team of teachers, a travel-weary Mary with a patient Joseph and hungry donkey, 3 very lost Kings (thank goodness for the Tom-Tom CatNav!), an impatient Townsman and his wife, a kindly Innkeeper, a radiant Angel Gabriel as well as our adorable sheep and angels, you did it! What amazing performances you put on. From the first rehearsal, you practised your lines with energy and enthusiasm and your teachers couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of you.
